News: Burn Amarr Confirmed, Date Set

Burn Amarr has been confirmed and is scheduled to go ahead from the 19th of June onwards, according to unnamed sources. The event will see GoonSwarm Federation [CONDI] and their allies using disposable ships in order to suicide gank ships in the Amarr system, Domain region.

Unlike the usual suicide gank which is after high value ships and cargo, this event will see ships targeted regardless of cost. Since the Amarr system is one of the busiest trade hubs in New Eden, the operation is certain to disrupt logistics across the region, as well as the South and South-East of New Eden, as the hub is used to supply these regions with the equipment and materials needed to maintain fleets.

This event is considered a precursor to the Imperium’s invasion of the Providence region in order to uproot loyalists of the so-called False Empress. Pilots flying under the banner of Providence Bloc are advised to use alternative trade hubs and avoid the Amarr system entirely as long as the event continues. Stocking on ships and equipment before the event starts is recommended as well.

BURN
AMARR STARTS 19TH JUNE

A
Life’s Work, Ending Lives

The
Ministry of Love was founded three years ago, just after the original Burn
Jita, an event so inspiring and powerful that it spawned a renewed and powerful
passion for suicide ganking, well beyond that of past jihadfleets or ice
interdictions or Hulkageddons. Each year, we’ve gotten cheaper and better at
grinding Jita’s freighter and jump freighter traffic to an utter and
unequivocal halt – as evidenced by the following destruction figures:

– Burn
Jita Classic: 518.47 billion ISK all up

– Burn
Jita 2: 578.35 billion ISK all up

– Burn
Jita 2014: 586.7 billion ISK in freighters, jump freighters, and Orcas alone.

And
now, as the Imperium, we turn our eyes to that other trade hub, home of the
false Empress (no, not the crappy 0.5 hub that would be a sheer joke to interdict).
The Imperium will not tolerate heresy, and it is our duty to purge all
unbelieving and unrepentant fools that choose to inhabit or otherwise utilize
this apostate bed of false idols. And, with Amarr burned to the ground, we will
move on to the next great victory – Providence, where Unbeliever moneychangers
toil and hoard their measly specks of property.

Preparation
for the Second Coming

The
God-Emperor needs you ready to spread his wrath. Take careful heed to these
directions (seriously read this shit it’s really crucial to our success).

 –Staging, Security, and Other Preparation

Staging:
Our fleets will be running out of Amarr VIII (music) – Moon 4 – Expert
Distribution Retail Center. Ensure that you have a jump clone at that station
far in advance of the 19th, and ensure that you set your medical clone there
before you begin spreading the Word. (This is crucial – you will get podded.
Non-implanted clones are welcomed and advised).

Security
Status: I give not one half a flying fuck what your security status is. Miniluv
has, in the past year, adapted to leading fleets composed mainly of -10
security status pilots. If you feel you need the shield of a good security
status, feel free – but leaving because “oh my sec is too low” will not
be a thing.

Other
Prep – Skill Training: Extremely important – ensure that you train this brief
skillplan IMMEDIATELY in order to participate in Burn Amarr

Other
Prep – Overview: Download this overview pack and put it into your
c:/Users/{username}/My Documents/EVE/overview folder. You will want to import
it and activate it before Burn Amarr.

Other
Prep – Instadock bookmarks: If you warp to the staging station at 0 normally,
you will die – trust me. While you are setting up your medclone/jump clone,
undock from the staging station, and make a bookmark where you are in space –
name it Burn Amarr Staging Instadock. When you need to get into the staging
station, warp to that bookmark instead of the actual staging station, then
manually dock.

Date/Time

We
will be running from June 19th (Friday) after downtime (1100) to downtime on
June 22nd (Monday), or, more likely, until we run out of Catalysts.

Ships and Training (*important*)*-

You
will be provided as many Catalysts as you can use, free of charge. The Ministry
of Love, my SIG and the premier highsec ganking entity in all of EVE Online,
has prepared over 15,000 fitted Catalysts for your use.

Extremely
important – ensure that you train this brief skillplan IMMEDIATELY in order to
participate in Burn Amarr

You
are welcome to bring your own stock of ships! We recommend any of the following:

– T1
or T2 blaster Catalyst

– T1
or T2 autocannon Thrasher

– T1
artillery Thrasher

– Coercers
of any flavor (because Amarr supremacy – watch out though, faction crystal cost
per suicide is somewhat prohibitive)

– T1
artillery Tornados for the extra-rich

Fits
for some of these can be found on the extremely helpful Miniluv wiki link).
)

Reimbursement
is:

Reimbursement
for Burn Jita Amarr is posted to the affordable care app.  Reimbursement for GSF is as follows:

– Catalyst:
10mil

– Brutix:
50mil

– Tornado:
60mil

– Talos:
85mil

Given
the fact that we are handing out 15,000 catalysts for FREE, yes, you can get
paid for showing up and shooting bads.

Support
Roles and a Call for FCs

As
with every year, Ministers and non-Ministers alike playing support roles are
key to the success of any Burn event. We ask you to consider providing the
following support:

Handing
out ships: We have more than 15,000 hulls that will need handing out over the
Burn Amarr weekend. A single player can only hold about 1000 per hangar. Ya
dig? SP requirement: None

Cargo/ship
scanning: We would like to know what cargo we’re ganking and what fits our
victims have – that’s where you come in. Recommended scanner fit here. SP
requirement: 1-day train’s worth of SP
Requires non-wardecced, non-killright character

Bumping:
Just what it sounds like. Grab a Typhoon, Panther, Machariel, or whatever suits
your fancy, and knock some freighters around until we’re able to nail them. SP
requirement: Small, 20-day train Requires non-wardecced, non-killright
character

Hauling:
Grab a Deep Space Transport (sample fit here), get a ton of Mobile Tractor
Units, and help us scoop delicious loot. SP requirement: Small, 20-day train
Requires non-wardecced, non-killright character

FCs: If
you know it, you can do it. If you can do it, we need your support. RSVP with
me and let me know when you can do fleets (CLEAR YOUR CALENDAR). SP
requirement: butt

Intricacies
of Amarr’s Geography

Amarr
is a trade hub, but it’s also a transport hub – there is a lot of movement out
to a lot of more minor local hubs that goes through Amarr. Jita, by comparison,
is where EVERYTHING flows to. That means that Amarr will provide for
interesting route interdiction.

On
Amarr’s security: the 1.0 CONCORD response is very much like the 0.9 Jita
CONCORD response. Dunna’ worry.

On
“lawd the Goons is dead can’t even burn jita:” Really, Goons and the
Imperium put out more actually fun events like this one than anyone else in EVE
Online. If we are dead, then we are dying laughing.

That’s
it. Get ready. Fuck ’em up.

Update: GoonSwarm Federation Avatar Class Titan Destroyed in GXK-7F

A GoonSwarm Federation Avatar class Titan was destroyed yesterday, the twenty-sixth of March at 18:41 EVE Standard Time in the GXK-7F system, Immensea region. The Titan, belonging to Mister Vee of GoonWaffe, GoonSwarm Federation Alliance, was used earlier in that day to bridge a CFC force in order to destroy a Nyx class Mothership belonging to a member of Black Core Alliance in the Y-N4EF system, Immensea region.

This alerted Northern Coalition(dot) Alliance to the existence of the CFC task force, and scouts were sent to pin point the origin system of the CFC fleet. The initial intent was to locate and destroy the CFC Capital fleet which accompanied the strike force, as it was making its way back to its staging system. However, Northern Coalition(dot) scouts soon discovered the Titan which was used to bridge in the CFC fleet, still online and in a safe Tower. A decision was made then to use a spy in the CFC, equipped with a Typhoon class Battleship, and bump the Titan out of the Tower’s force field, thus allowing Northern Coalition(dot) forces to destroy it.

For the most part, the plan worked perfectly. The Titan was bumped out of the force field, and a cynosural beacon was deployed, courtesy of Krall Junior, of Rebellion Co, Echoes of Nowhere Alliance. However, due to the Northern Coalition(dot) Titans jumping in close proximity to the GoonSwarm Federation Titan, it was bumped back into the force field and continued on its journey, exiting the force field on the opposite side. This has led to some controversy, which according to Travis Musgrat, of BURN EDEN, Northern Coalition(dot) Alliance, is unwarranted.

Regardless, the GoonSwarm Federation Titan was outside of the force field, locked by the Northern Coalition(dot) Titans and destroyed by a volley of twelve of them, using their doomsday devices. With the Titan destroyed, the Northern Coalition(dot) Titans safely extracted. From the time of the Titan’s discovery to its inevitable destruction and the safe extraction of Northern Coalition(dot) forces, only six minutes elapsed.

When asked if he was worried, at the time, about deploying the Northern Coalition(dot) Titans on the field unsupported, Travis Musgrat replied that due to the high activity in the Alliance at the time, he was not at all worried about the possibility of a Northern Coalition(dot) Titan being tackled, as he was confident the Alliance could easily form up and save it in time.

In an interview to TheMittani(dot)com, Mister Vee, owner of the destroyed Titan, claimed he was not paying attention when the entire sequence of events occurred, which may account to the lack of response on the CFC’s side to the entire situation.

Mister Vee was unavailable for comment for the EVE Scribe

Special thanks are in order to ravis Musgrat, of BURN EDEN, Northern Coalition(dot) Alliance for granting me an interview, as well as EVE News 24 and TheMittani(dot)com for supplying the initial reports.

Breaking News: H.E.R.O Coalition Capital Fleet Lost in N-8BZ6

With the shock waves of Darkness of Despair’s disband still subsiding, H.E.R.O Coalition continued its assault on Catch. However, it seems over confidence led H.E.R.O Coalition to deploy a small capital fleet in N-8BZ6 system in order to reinforce an AAA Citizens station, a renter Alliance of Against ALL Authorities. Their mistake was aggravated by the lack a substantial sub-capital fleet to escort said capitals. This resulted in thirteen dreadnaughts and four carriers destroyed, along with an assortment of sub-capitals who tried to rescue the tackled capitals.

The fight started by coincidence, when republicov, a Providence Block Fleet Commander belonging to the Silent Infinity Alliance, led an interceptor gang through Catch, hoping to snag a few kills. Moving through the N-8BZ6 system, one of the fleet members, Myster0816 of Curatores Veritatis Alliance, checked his directional scanner and was noticed that capital ships were showing up near the system’s station. Without a second thought, republicov ordered his fleet to warp to the station and tackle the besieging capitals, while pinging Providence for reinforcements.

The battle through republicov’s fleet’s perspective

Luckily enough, corebloodbrothers of The Volition Cult Alliance, was assembling his daily fleet. Getting reports from republicov, corebloodbrothers ordered his fleet to re-ship to heavy neutralizing battleships and assemble on a titan to bridge. PIXSE, another pilot of The Volition Cult, was told to fit a cynosural generator on an interceptor and burn to the site in order to allow the force to drop on top of the tackled capitals.

In the meanwhile, Chee Sao of Apocalypse Now. Alliance, who was part of republicov’s fleet, kept the tackled capitals bubbled with his sabre, giving corebloodbrothers the time needed to organize and bridge his fleet. In less than twenty minutes the first wave of battleship was on the field, applying heavy neutralizers and DPS on the bubbled capitals.

A recording of the early stages of the battle, just as CFC forces enter the system

The fight’s outcome, was not, by any definition of the word, clear at the time. The first wave of battleships was having a tough time breaking the capitals’ tank, and losing many of its ships. corebloodbrothers hastily organized reinforcements, only to find that his titan had run out of Strontium Clathrates to open the bridge. This led to a rather comical moment in which fuel had to be brought up and dragged to the titan. After they were done with their shenanigans, Provi-Block reinforcements bridged into the system and kept piling in, reaching one-hundred and eighty pilots, mostly in sentry ships.

At the same time, a CFC Tengu fleet have heard of the tackled capitals and burned to the system. corebloodbrothers quickly opened communications with the CFC’s FC, reaching an agreement of a temporary ceasefire in order for both fleets to focus on the tackled capitals. With the CFC reinforcements, the H.E.R.O Coalition capitals melted away, and were destroyed to the last one. A token H.E.R.O cruiser gang numbering more than fifty pilots tried to free the tackled capitals, only to end up destroyed alongside them.

Once all the capitals were destroyed, the CFC Tengu fleet extracted itself from the system, without incident, allowing Provi-Block to loot the field and return home safely. In just over an hour H.E.R.O Coalition lost five Moros, three Naglfar, two Phoenix and three Revelation class dreadnaughts, as well as three Chimera and one Archon class carriers. The damage done is valued at fifty billion ISK.

Battle Report

While Test Alliance Please Ignore has not given me any official response, Brave Collective’s PR officer, Markonius
Porkbutte, directed me to his subreddit post, where it was claimed that poor coordination, lack of consolidated communication lines, absence of a backup fleet and operational oversight caused the losses.

However, it has been claimed that a H.E.R.O Coalition reinforcement fleet was assembled and ready to bridge on a titan, only to find out the titan pilot in question was AFK. This may explain why several Provi-Block pilots saw a second H.E.R.O Coalition cynosural beacon go up, without anyone entering the system. This has not been confirmed by either side, though corebloodbrothers confessed that there were multiple cynosural beacons on the field, and he could have overlooked it.

Regardless of the outcome, many people in Providence are looking forward to H.E.R.O Coalition’s continued deployment in the region and hope for many more good fights in the future.

Special thanks are in order to JedsZero, Dragoshi Drambuie and Exclevori of Apocalypse Now. Alliance and Judiciary Pag of Curatores Veritatis Alliance for their contributions to the article, as well as corebloodbrothers, of The Volition Cult Alliance for the interview.

Update: Sendaya Free for All

The Sendaya system in the Derelik region is fastly becoming the hottest spot in New Eden. The system maintains a high population density, remaining above four hundred pilots even during the Australian Time Zone, often considered EVE’s weakest. The station is perpatually covered with wrecks as engagements occur almost constantly between individuals, gangs and entire fleets. This has been caused due to the formation and subsequent deployment of H.E.R.O Coalition to the system, which made many established Alliances relocate to the region, or lead fleets into it.

Sunday saw the largest engagement so far in the system between forces of GoonSwarm Federation, Black Legion, H.E.R.O Coalition and the Provi-Block with almost nine hundred pilots in system. The battle was a chaotic free for all between the four entities and Killboards have proven unreliable in piecing together a coherent report. What is certain, though, is that this is only the beginning of one of the most interesting deployments in the history of EVE.

The EVE Scribe will keep posted with future developments.

Breaking News: TEST Alliance Please Ignore Deploys SBUs in Catch

In the last twenty-four hours, Sovereignty Blockade Units have been deployed by H.E.R.O Coalition throughout the Catch region. Sharp eyed observers quickly found out that the majority of said SBUs belonged to TEST Alliance Please Ignore, which piqued many’s curiosity, as rumors stated that the CFC presented TEST an ultimatum: Do not take any sovereignty, or the CFC will immediately intervene.

TEST SBU deployed in G-ATOH
TEST SBU deployed in TA3T-3

Another surprise was the fact Northern CoalitionDot seemed to want in on the fun, and has deployed its own SBUs in Catch.

NCdot SBU deployed in J6QB-P
Though I have not been able to get a confirmation for that rumor or for NCdot’s SBU deployment, I have been able to get an interview with ZheoTheThird, TEST Alliance diplomat, which had the following to say:

ZheoTheThird: Good evening

Salivan Harddin: Good evening to you too, may I get TEST response for SBUing Catch, and whether it was true that H.E.R.O Coalition was warned by the CFC not to allow TEST to deploy SBUs?

ZheoTheThird: Certainly! HERO Coalition has announced their attack on catch. We’ll be assaulting the region and BRAVE have expressed interest in holding sovereignty on their own. To my knowledge, there is no such warning from the CFC. TEST is letting BRAVE decide matters here, and TEST isn’t too eager on holding sov at the current point in time.

Salivan Harddin: So you are SBUing for BRAVE’s sake? And have no plans to take sov?

ZheoTheThird: Any SBUs put down by TEST at the moment are corp- or individual ones, not an alliance effort.

Salivan Harddin: Does TEST have any future plans, if the Catch deployment succeeds?

ZheoTheThird: Since we’ve freed ourselves from the shackles of sov, we’ve gone where content lead us and where we saw opportunities. Right now there are no long term plans, we’d like to see how this works out, and then decided on what to do. We all see HERO as an exciting opportunity to have fun in EVE with our like minded allies from BRAVE, HONOR and Nexus Fleet, and I don’t see us breaking up anytime soon.

Salivan Harddin: IIs there any truth to the claim that H.E.R.O coalition was paid by N3 to assault -A- and RUS coalition?

ZheoTheThird: I cannot say about that than what BRAVE said in their alliance update. All I can say is that rumours are rumours, and should be treated as such.

Salivan Harddin: Do you foresee CFC interference?

ZheoTheThird: Well, I’m no fortune teller, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the CFC moved some forces to Catch, seeing as -A- are formally their allies.

Salivan Harddin: Do you think you are able to go toe to toe with the RUS Coalition capital and super capital fleet? Or do you expect help from PL\NCdot?

ZheoTheThird: Well, we haven’t seen much resistance from -A- yet, so I’m not too worried about that. I can’t speak for PL or N3, they are not participating in this offensive of ours as of now. However, should RUSRUS unite and get CFC capital/supercapital support, then it shouldn’t strike anyone as a surprise that HERO alone couldn’t hold up against that. At least not in capital/supercapital strength.

Salivan Harddin: Last question if you will, do you believe that H.E.R.O Coalition will prevail in this war?

ZheoTheThird: Well, I sure hope so 🙂 I am confident in our abilities, we’ve got a lot of manpower and enthusiasm and are eager to earn our spot in the universe. Whatever happens though, our goal here is to have fun. As long as we manage to provide fun content for our members and make playing EVE worth their time, that’s a win in my books.

Salivan Harddin: Thank you very much for your time

ZheoTheThird: Thank you for this opportunity.

Until the time of publication, Northern CoalitionDot were unavailable for comment.

Update: GoonSwarm Federation has refused to officially comment about the supposed ultimatum to TEST Alliance Please Ignore.
