Update: KBP7-G Status

KBP7-G system, Providence region. On the 24th of June, the system fell to Northern Coalition(dot) [NC] forces unopposed.

Providence Bloc fought [NC] every step of the way, but after the station was taken and the Territorial Claim Unit destroyed, had to concede the system.

While there may have been a chance to delay the [NC] Territorial Claim Units from reaching online status, [NC] had them deployed on a heavily fortified tower (Also known as a deathstar). At the same time, a timer was coming up for a station in the BK4-YC system, and the Providence Bloc Fleet Commanders decided to abandon the KBP7-G system in favor of wrestling BK4-YC back.

At this stage 3 of the 4 systems connection the Providence region to Empire space have been taken over by [NC], for what purpose none but [NC] can tell. Regardless, Providence Bloc continues to fight [NC] forces daily, resisting their advance. The EVE Scribe will keep you posted.

Update: The Struggle to Re-Claim Y-MPWL Continues

Y-MPWL system, Providence region. Fighting continues over the system, with Providence Bloc deploying Sovereignty Blockade Units as it attempts to re-capture the system.

Northern Coalition(dot) [NC] and Providence Bloc have been mainly skirmishing after the battle of 9-F0B2, with sporadic fighting occurring across the region. Providence Bloc has been mainly busy with removing [NC] towers in the region, with mixed success.

However, as a Sansha Nation incursion started in the I9B-8X constellation, which holds the Y-MPWL system, Providence Bloc seized the opportunity and deployed Sovereignty Blockade Units in the system.

The presence of the Sansha Incursion is significant, as it nullifies [NC]’s ability to counter escalate. This is in part due to the nature of Incursions, which does not allow cynosural beacons to work at all in the effected systems. Coupled with the fact that Y-MPWL does not connect to Low Security Space and the Incursion is present all the way down to the 9UY4-H system, [NC] will be hard pressed to use Capital and Super Capital assets already present in the system, as they have no way of reinforcing them should the worst happen.

Should a battle occur, [NC] may risk the loss of costly assets, as help will take time to arrive through the afflicted systems, with Providence Bloc certain to make the road as perilous and slow as possible.

Thus, the campaign for Y-MPWL commences. Whether [NC] can hold the system against the might of Providence Bloc, or forced to evacuate its remaining assets is unclear. What is certain, is that many more battles will occur as Providence Bloc moves to take back what rightfully belongs to it. The EVE Scribe will keep you posted.

Update: All Quiet in the Southern Front

In the last couple of days, no new major offensive has been taken by Northern Coalition(dot) [NC], allowing Providence Bloc to secure the KBP7-G system

Both the Infrastructure Hub and the Station’s shield timers were allowed to run their course, as no new Sovereignty Blockade Units were deployed by [NC], the last set removed by Providence Bloc uncontested. Thus both timers have been successfully reset.

The only major occurrence were: A [NC] Slowcat (Archon Carriers) fleet which jumped into the system, reinforcing and taking down some of the Providence Bloc towers in the KBP7-G system. A failed attempt by Providence Bloc to reinforce the [NC] staging tower in return which resulted in a few losses and a second attempt later on which succeeded, the timer remains to be contested.

As the conflict seems to wind down, it is yet unclear whether a possible end to it is in sight, or this is just a lull in the fighting. Regardless, the EVE Scribe will keep you updated.

Special thanks to Mangraa Dementia, of Blue Tridents, Sev3rance, for supplying the video footage.

With Against ALL Authorities Alliance seemingly offering no resistance, the only set backs to plague the operation have been the Black Pearl Alliance incident, and the controversial intervention of Pandemic Legion and Northern Coalition(dot) Alliances.

Update: Catch Region 25/3/2014 – 7/4/2014

After what seemed to many as H.E.R.O Coalition’s initial push into the Catch region losing momentum and stalling, with its members becoming acquainted with the grind of sovereignty warfare, the end of March saw the Coalition re-invigorated, as more systems fell into its hands, and most of the remaining sovereignty infrastructure of Against ALL Authorities Alliance put into reinforced mode. The EVE Scribe is here to give you a brief summary of the past two weeks’ activities.

Update: GoonSwarm Federation Avatar Class Titan Destroyed in GXK-7F

A GoonSwarm Federation Avatar class Titan was destroyed yesterday, the twenty-sixth of March at 18:41 EVE Standard Time in the GXK-7F system, Immensea region. The Titan, belonging to Mister Vee of GoonWaffe, GoonSwarm Federation Alliance, was used earlier in that day to bridge a CFC force in order to destroy a Nyx class Mothership belonging to a member of Black Core Alliance in the Y-N4EF system, Immensea region.

This alerted Northern Coalition(dot) Alliance to the existence of the CFC task force, and scouts were sent to pin point the origin system of the CFC fleet. The initial intent was to locate and destroy the CFC Capital fleet which accompanied the strike force, as it was making its way back to its staging system. However, Northern Coalition(dot) scouts soon discovered the Titan which was used to bridge in the CFC fleet, still online and in a safe Tower. A decision was made then to use a spy in the CFC, equipped with a Typhoon class Battleship, and bump the Titan out of the Tower’s force field, thus allowing Northern Coalition(dot) forces to destroy it.

For the most part, the plan worked perfectly. The Titan was bumped out of the force field, and a cynosural beacon was deployed, courtesy of Krall Junior, of Rebellion Co, Echoes of Nowhere Alliance. However, due to the Northern Coalition(dot) Titans jumping in close proximity to the GoonSwarm Federation Titan, it was bumped back into the force field and continued on its journey, exiting the force field on the opposite side. This has led to some controversy, which according to Travis Musgrat, of BURN EDEN, Northern Coalition(dot) Alliance, is unwarranted.

Regardless, the GoonSwarm Federation Titan was outside of the force field, locked by the Northern Coalition(dot) Titans and destroyed by a volley of twelve of them, using their doomsday devices. With the Titan destroyed, the Northern Coalition(dot) Titans safely extracted. From the time of the Titan’s discovery to its inevitable destruction and the safe extraction of Northern Coalition(dot) forces, only six minutes elapsed.

When asked if he was worried, at the time, about deploying the Northern Coalition(dot) Titans on the field unsupported, Travis Musgrat replied that due to the high activity in the Alliance at the time, he was not at all worried about the possibility of a Northern Coalition(dot) Titan being tackled, as he was confident the Alliance could easily form up and save it in time.

In an interview to TheMittani(dot)com, Mister Vee, owner of the destroyed Titan, claimed he was not paying attention when the entire sequence of events occurred, which may account to the lack of response on the CFC’s side to the entire situation.

Mister Vee was unavailable for comment for the EVE Scribe

Special thanks are in order to ravis Musgrat, of BURN EDEN, Northern Coalition(dot) Alliance for granting me an interview, as well as EVE News 24 and TheMittani(dot)com for supplying the initial reports.

Update: ERVK-P Station Captured by H.E.R.O Coalition

Following the dissolution of Darkness of Despair Alliance, ERVK-P system in Catch lost sovereignty, allowing Brave Collective to claim their first system, and later station, in Catch. F9E-KX system followed shortly, and Nexus Fleet took over E-YJ8G system and station. All in all, H.E.R.O Coalition gained a foothold into Catch, with ERVK-P serving as their new staging system.

The only interruption to H.E.R.O Coalition’s take over of the ERVK-P system came in the form of a token CFC force comprised of a Zealot gang operated by Razor Alliance, and a Tengu fleet of assorted CFC entities, which Squared off against H.E.R.O’s Megathron fleet. Providence Block acted as an honorable third party and engaged both parties equally.

A clip of the battle from Provi-Block’s perspective

After a short engagement, and with mounting losses, Provi-Block’s Fleet Commander, corebloodbrothers, decided to extract the force and disengaged, rather than risk losing the whole fleet, and left the two coalition to continue fighting.

Summary of the battle

Regardless, H.E.R.O Coalition managed to get a solid foothold in Catch, whether they manage to keep it, widen it, or lose it entirely, time will tell.

The EVE Scribe will keep you posted.
