Breaking News: Against ALL Authorities Titan Destroyed

Things have been bleak for Against ALL Authorities these last few days. First, they lose a staging system, then Darkness of Despair disbands, leaving an entire flank exposed in RUS Coalition’s side, not to mention the loss of many valuable pilots, and now they lose a titan.

The titan in question, a Leviathan, was purchased by Carinia of Blackwater Swat. only two days before and was still travel fitted. Unknown to Carinia, Black Legion tracks titan sale threads. The moment she posted on the thread, Black Legion started running locator agents on her. Once the titan sale was finalized, Black Legion started forming up in order to hunt her down.

Her second piece of bad luck was to jump into Mai system in the Domain region. FrEeSoUl5150, member of Mafia Redux, Phobia. Alliance, noticed the cyno in system and immediately acted upon it. “Well he cyno’d in at a safe spot in the middle of nowhere. I had a cloaked alt in system and warped directly to the cyno. HoneyPot Glaze and myself started bumping the titan. We weren’t able to keep him in place and he warped off. I logged on two more toons and gave chase as well as dropped probes. He warped to planet II at one hundred kilometers, we thought he went to sun but he wasn’t there [of course].  Bil Tuesday warped there at random and got a de-cloak on the titan but couldn’t hold him. That’s when he went to belt VII-Six. I was doing a d-scan and cought him on a five degree scan and warped my Heavy Interdictor and my Megathron there. Right as I landed he de-cloaked fifteen kilometers off of my Heavy Interdictor and I got the hard tackle. Once we got that hard tackle is when I started to bat phone…”.*

Tackled titans make for strange bed fellows, especially in Low Security space. FrEeSoUl5150 contacted several entities in the region, including, funnily enough, Sev3rence,a member Alliance of the Providence Block, who holds Phobia. Alliance as an enemy. N00b FO0, of Sev3rence, told his side of the story “Well, some of my friends poked me, saying ‘N00b, we got an enemy titan of Provi-Block tackled, we need your help’. So I Jump Cloned over, and called over a few guys from the Alliance, some of which got there in time, and some of them didn’t. I was just psyched when I saw that it was an -A- [Titan], Providence Victor man”.*

Black Legion, of course, were contacted as well by Phobia. Alliance, who their leadership keeps close ties with. Though mostly based around a US time zone, Black Legion had already a sizable gang formed, which was bridged into the system with the help of Phobia. Alliance. At that point, the titan was already going down, and the arrival of Black Legion only hastened its demise.

At no point did Against ALL Authorities try to extract the titan, or form up a rescue fleet, possibly due to the fact the titan was newly purchased and not known to their leadership. Regardless, no contacts from -A- were available for comment, including the titan pilot.

With the current political upheaval in the sector, this might not be the last titan to be lost in Low Security space.

Breaking News: Darkness of Despair Disbands

Without warning or explanation, Darkness of Despair, formed from former Against ALL Authorities corporations, had disbanded. Sharped eyed observers noticed the fact that the Alliance has zero members count and a closing date on Dotlan.com. While speculation is running wild, many entities in the area are burning towards Tenerifis Region in order to grab sovereignty in the region.

Rumor has it that the Alliance closed due to internal strife caused by the political situation between Russia and the Ukraine, as many players in the Alliance were effected by the events that transpired between the two countries. The next few hours will be telling for the future of the Halloween war and the RUS Coalition.

Breaking News: RUS Coalition Staging System Under Attack

This just in, a large fleet battle is under way in the Y-FZ5N system, Immensea. The fight is over a final I-Hub timer between N3 and RUS Coalitions. There are eight-hundred and fifty pilots in the system, though exact numbers for each fleet are unavailable. RUS forces were reported in Dominix, -A- in Tengu and NCdot in Proteus fleets. The Cyno Jammer remains active, though sources say SOLAR super-capitals were logged in the system beforehand.

Battle Report

Should -A- lose the I-Hub, it will make the system vulnerable, which may spell disaster for the RUS Coalition, as Y-FZ5N was designated as their new staging system.

Update: -A- have, indeed, lost the I-Hub and had their station enter reinforced mode. The station is expected to exit reinforced mode at Wednesday, the twelfth of March, 15:00 EVE time. If they don’t manage to save it, the RUS Coalition will lose their staging system, which will gravely impact their campaign against the N3 Coalition.

Update: Sendaya Free for All

The Sendaya system in the Derelik region is fastly becoming the hottest spot in New Eden. The system maintains a high population density, remaining above four hundred pilots even during the Australian Time Zone, often considered EVE’s weakest. The station is perpatually covered with wrecks as engagements occur almost constantly between individuals, gangs and entire fleets. This has been caused due to the formation and subsequent deployment of H.E.R.O Coalition to the system, which made many established Alliances relocate to the region, or lead fleets into it.

Sunday saw the largest engagement so far in the system between forces of GoonSwarm Federation, Black Legion, H.E.R.O Coalition and the Provi-Block with almost nine hundred pilots in system. The battle was a chaotic free for all between the four entities and Killboards have proven unreliable in piecing together a coherent report. What is certain, though, is that this is only the beginning of one of the most interesting deployments in the history of EVE.

The EVE Scribe will keep posted with future developments.

Article: The Great Wormhole Heist

Wormhole residents learn the hard way the price of being KOS to Providence

Providence residents are all too familiar with wormholes. It is a common occurrence in the region, and usually, an irritating one. Not once do wormhole corporations descend from unknown space to harass and pillage the region’s systems. At other times, unfriendly groups from remote sectors of space use these wormholes to travel to the region and raise hell. Certainly, no decent, hardworking Providence pilot wants to see one in his system.

However, two nights ago, a group of Apocalypse Now. pilots tipped the Karma scales back a bit by executing a brilliant heist, netting them approximately 10 billion ISK in ships, modules and loot. This incredible feat proves once more how a little bit of luck, and a lot of boredom result in a fantastic tale of theft and, ultimately, profit.

A Prober Probes a Hole

All great stories start innocently enough, and this one is no different. Araikas Rhal, of Helghan Imperial Armada, Apocalypse Now. Alliance probed a wormhole in 08Z-JJ. He bookmarked it in the corporate tab and thought no more of it. Findrahis, his corpmate, was bored at the time and decided to explore said wormhole. Flying in, he might have expected to get an easy kill, do a site maybe, but not to find an offlined POS, and one with a Ship Maintenance Array to boot belonging to a KOS corporation.

Without hesitation, Findrahis got on the Apoc TeamSpeak server and called all available pilots. In a few moments, seven brave pilots were willing to go into the unknown and wreck some revenge on the wormhole residents. They warped to the offlined POS and started popping modules. When they blew up the Corporate Hangar Array and found nothing in it they must have thought that their operation will result only in a few killmails and a well deserved feeling of revenge. And then they killed the Ship Maintenance Array…

Cash Pinata

I am sure that as the Ship Maintenance Array exploded and they examined its wreck, there was a moment of sheer disbelief followed by a dawning realization and then a flurry of activity. The structure yielded its bounty, and it was plentiful indeed. two billion ISK in ships alone was found in the wreck!

However, more surprises awaited the Apoc pilots as they boarded the Orca and Chimera in a plan to smuggle them out of the wormhole and into Providence. Seven fully fitted Tengus were discovered in the carrier’s hold, estimated worth close to five billion ISK, as well as approximately one point six billion ISK in salvage, loot and skillbooks.

The last, but not least, surprise was the Chimera itself, which was fully faction fitted, and carrying a full drone bay, estimated at three billion ISK, hull, fittings and drones.

Aftermath

All told, Apocalypse Now. managed to steal ten billion ISK in assets from the wormhole residents, who were taught a valuable lesson about starbases and refueling. The Tengus themselves were divided between the raid’s participants, while all other ships and assets were donated towards the Apocalypse Now. SRP fund*.

All in all a happy ending to an unexpected adventure, well, except for the original owners of said tower..

Providence Fight Club: AY-YCU 7.3.2014

First published on the EVE Scribe on the 8/3/2014

If you are a resident of Providence, you are no stranger to the odd roaming gang. Providence is the preferred roaming spot for dozens of Corporations and Alliances, not to mention Streamers. It seems that yesterday was no different, as a fleet formed in Amarr made its way down to Providence. What makes this gang distinct from others? It seemed to have been formed entirely of random individuals who all happened to be in Amarr at the same time. The organizer of the fleet, apparently, is Robyn lynx, a former Brave Newbies member and the current CEO of a one man corp, as logs would indicate:

[ 2014.03.07 19:49:46 ] Robyn lynx > Join
[ 2014.03.07 19:49:54 ] Robyn lynx > spectre fleet for Cruiser fleet
[ 2014.03.07 19:49:57 ] Robyn lynx > leaving soon
[ 2014.03.07 19:50:02 ] Robyn lynx > 30+ already
[ 2014.03.07 19:50:21 ] Robyn lynx > forming in amarr
[ 2014.03.07 19:50:24 ] Robyn lynx > kitchen sink

The fleet, made of around fifty pilots strong mainly in an assortment of cruisers and battlecruisers, entered Providence through Misaba, into the R3-K7K system and went down the D-GTMI pipe, catching unaware pilots in its course. Once it reached N8XA-L Heimdall Midgard, The commander of the AY-YCU defense fleet decided to act. “Well the red fleet was sitting in N8XA-L, catching some pilots that weren’t watching intel, and as you might know We (i.e. Gun Fun Alliance) always have a home defense fleet in AY-YCU up. So I told our pilots to bring AHACs\Armor Tech 3 and four Guardians plus some Tech 1 ships. I also called Kraftwerk, who had a gang in R3-K7K. We merged our two fleets, and they changed into armor ships while the red fleet moved down to AY-YCU and started camping the ZT-LPU gate on both sides. I let the Kraftwerk fleet move in from R3-K7K’s direction and my guys in AY-YCU jumped at the same time on the gate. The reds in ZT-LPU  jumped into AY-YCU and were caught by our and their bubbles. we started picking off the red fleet’s ships and it was nearly completely decimated, I think two or three pilots logged off in AY-YCU”*

The EVE-Kill reports are pretty straight-forward, with the Yulai Federation supplying a marvelous bombing run and Gun Fun Alliance, Krafwerk., TSOE Consortium and RECURSIVE ASCENSION finishing the job. All in all, another night in the Providence Region.

Breaking News: H.E.R.O Coalition Invades Catch

First published on the EVE Scribe on the 7/3/2014

The weeks of speculation are finally over. H.E.R.O Coalition has deployed Sovereignty Blockade Units in ERVK-P. The SBUs were deployed by Nexus Fleet at 19:00 EVE time, and were first reported by members of Sev3rance who promptly dispatched the Transport. Shortly afterward, a Brave Newbies Talwar fleet of around one hundred pilots appeared in the system, to guard the SBUs while they were brought online.

This development makes it clear that H.E.R.O Coalition are here to take sovereignty in Catch, or at least harass Against ALL Authorities and Darkness of Despair, thus validating the rumors that they have been paid by Northern CoalitionDot for said task.

We are yet to see how the RUS coalition, of which -A- and -DD- are members of, responds to this action, that effectively opens a second front in their own back door. This coming after a string of mishaps that included the loss of a staging system and reversal of major sovereignty gains in Immensia.

The stance of GoonSwarm Federation and the CFC is yet to be decided either, considering they just returned from a lengthy campaign in the south, and have been harassed by both Mordus Angels and Black Legion recently.

Will this be the beginning of the end for -A-? Will the CFC re-deploy south to help the RUS coalition? And how will N3 use this diversion for its advantage? I will keep you posted on further developments.
